Where is the nearest supermarket?

The nearest supermarket is Pak’n Save, which is a 5-minute walk from the hostel. Pak’n Save is a large supermarket chain in New Zealand, known for its wide range of products at affordable prices. Additionally, there is a convenience store called Night and Day located directly across the road from the hostel, providing quick access to essential items and snacks.

Please note there is no car parking at the Hostel. Parking in town is free from from 5 pm to 8 am the next day. A large pay car park building is situated directly beside us with access off Leven Street. For more details, refer to the Leven Street Car Park Information.

We offer late check-in after 6-7 pm. Please ensure you let us know your arrival time.

Intercity buses arrive and depart right outside the café front door on Dee Street. Our reception stays open for the Intercity bus that arrives at 6.30 pm.

A taxi costs approximately $17 plus a $4 airport fee, totaling $21.00.

Yes, it is very safe to book with your credit card. The numbers are encrypted and protected by SSL (Secured Global Sign). We do not charge your credit card at the time of booking; it is just to secure the reservation. We no longer accept cash for accommodation bookings.

No, we provide sheets, duvets, and pillows. Towels are available for hire at $5.

Yes, we have bike storage in a secured courtyard. However, bikes are not allowed inside the hostel or hostel rooms.

Yes, secure bag storage is available for $10 a day for large packs and tramping gear.

Yes, long-term storage is available for $10 a day.

Yes, we have 24-hour security surveillance. Entrance to the building is by key card only.

Yes, we offer secure bike storage for all our guests.
